A Christmas Special-JL18 Story FINISHED!

Chapter 1
It was 1 week til Christmas and Jessie was wrapping her gifts for all her friends. After that she rushed to HQ to start work.
"Jessie!" Sd said happily as he walked into the office. "Guess What!" he said.
"Its nearly Christmas?"
"Well, yes but that's not it!"
"I get to finish early?" she said with a laugh, she loved her job.
"WHAT! No way!" Chief said in surprise
"Ok, I give up!" Jessie laughed "What?"
"We are going to the North Pole!" Sid threw his arms in the air like he was on a roller coaster.
"WHAT!!!!" Jessie leapt into Chief's arms and screamed "YAY!" then she paused "Who's going?"
"Me, you, Indy, Zoe, Beth, Sonny, Carly, Matty, Mindy, Penny, Kara, Arcee and Rob have i missed anyone?"
"YAY!" Jessie said happily "Permission to go home and pack?"
"Permission granted" Sid said saluting her in the agent way. "I gotta go pack too"
Jessie ran out of her office but before she was out of earshot Chief yelled the final details.
"Meet us at the train station tomorrow 9am... DONT BE LATE!"

Chapter 2
At 9am on the dot Jessie, Chief and all the gang arrived at the station ready to go to the North Pole. The journey was quick and simple, and they arrived early. "Welcome Sid Bear and his fellow citizens!!" Sol the elf called from his place by the tree. "Santa is waiting in the workshop for you!" The gang marched into the busy workshop to be greeted by the big guy himself! "Ho ho ho! Hello folks!" Santa laughed. "WOW!" all of the travellers gasped. "Come on, see the workshop!" he said merrily as he spread hisarms wide and revealed the busy elves preparing the last minute gifts.

Chapter 3
After a tour, Santa lead the group to the house where they each had their own room. They unpacked and went to explore the villiage. Jessie wandered to the Mrs. C Café and ordered a cookie. "Hello dear!" Mrs. Claus said cheerfully "Hi Mrs. C!" Jessie said between mouthfuls of the delicious cookie. "Oh! Santa wanted to see you!" Mrs. C said mixing her next batch of whatever delicious treat she was preparing. "Uh... OK!" Jessie finished her cookie and dashed to Santa's workshop. "You wanted to see me?" Jessie said curiously as she approached the desk. "Ah... Jessie is it? Yes? Well we have a problem" Jessie blinked "What problem? That's not good to hear from you 5 days til Christmas!" "Well... A certain present has gone missing... you're friend's present." Jessie's mouth hung open "Who's? I should get Chief, he is better at handling this sort of thing than me!" Santa removed his glasses. "I'm afraid that's the problem" "Huh?" Jessie gasped "WHAT!!!!! YOU LOST HIS PRESENT!" "I didn't lose it, its been stolen!"

Chapter 4
Indiana Buddy checked his PDA for messages, there was one off his mother, and one off Jessie, he opened it. "INDY! BAD NEWS!!! CHIEF'S GIFT STOLEN!!!" Indy almost dropped his PDA "Stolen?!?" he thought "I gotta find Jessie!" he rushed to the workshop and hugged Jessie. "Oh Indy! Im so glad you are here! I needed a hug andi can't hug Chief cos he'll ask what's wrong and i can't tell him! I can't say his present is gone!!! Thanks Indy! Im gonna need you're mystery solving skills to help me solve this!" Indy removed his hat and bowed "At your service!" he replaced his ht and took out his whip. "Lets look for clues!"

Chapter 5
4 days passed and there was no lead. On the day before Christmas Eve, Indy found a note in his room. It said "If you want the missing gift, go to the tree house at ten to midnight on Christmas Eve... Bring a basket of blueberry muffins! Signed E" Indy rushed over to Jessie's room in the hotel next door and knocked loudly on the door. "Indy?" Jessie said looking at him. "Jessie there's a note look! I came straight over!" He thrush the note into Jessie's hand. Jessie giggled, "I can see that" She looked at him again from head to foot. Indy looked down slowly. He was still in his PJs!!! "Uh... I'll be right back!" Indy rushed off. A few moments later he appeared fully dressed. "So... what do you make of the note?" He said. "Its a ransom... they are holding his gift as a ransom... for Blueberry muffins..." Jessie shook her head "Mrs C. wont like it".

Chapter 6
Jessie and Indy walked over to Mrs C's cafe but on the way they bumped into Chief. "Hey Jessie, Indy, How come i dont see you so often anymore?" He said tipping his hat. Jessie blushed "Uh I guess ive been busy in the rush to Christmas!" she said quickly. "Now if you excuse us we really must be going." She walked quickly off. Sid frowned. Why was everyone being so secretive? He shrugged and continued on his way to the Reindeer. Jessie and Indy entered the ittle cafe of Mrs C. and sat down to order. Little elf waitors and waitresses rushed over to take their orders. "If it's ok with you we need to talk to Mrs. Claus." Jessie said quietly. "OK!" a little elf dressed in a christmassy dress said cheerfully and she dashed over to Mrs C. and whispered in her ear. Then Mrs C. walked over and sat down. "What can i do for you today?" She said with a smile. Jessie lowered her voice. "We got a note this morning from the present thief saying he wants a basket of Blueberry muffins in return of the gift." Jessie said solemly. "We wish to pay for the muffins, although it may cost a lot." Mrs C. grinned "No worries my child! I'm quite fond of young Sidney, he comes in every day to say hello and orders a cup of hot spiced tea and a cookie. I will give you the muffins for free, come back tomorrow morning and they will be ready!" Jessie looked at Indy and Mrs C. in amazement "Thank you Mrs. Claus!" Jessie said hugging her. "We will be here!"

Chapter 7
Christmas eve and Jessie and Indy went to collect the muffins. Then they went and passed the time by helping out in the workshops. At quarter to Midnight Jessie and Indy took the basket of muffins to the Christmas tree. 5 minutes later a small figure appeared in the shadows, as it emerged Jessie and Indy saw an elf, but this elf wasn't cheerful and happy, for he wore a frown on his face and looked as sour as a lemon. Jessie grabbed Indy's arm and Indy patted her reassuringly. The elf spoke with a deep, croaky voice. "Give me the basket." he said as he revealed the gift. Indy stepped forward. "NO! I want her to give it to me! I dont trust you, you look tricky!" Jessie gulped. "It's ok Jessie, if he tries to hurt you i will strike him down with my whip." Indy whispered as he handed her the basket. Jessie stepped bravely toward the creepy elf and held out the basket slowly. The elf threw the gift to her and snatched the basket from her. "Thank you!" He said with a sneer as he stepped back. As he did so, he got tangled in some tinsel. "ARGH!" He screeched "I hate tinsel! I hate Christmas!" Jessie blinked "You hate Christmas?" she repeated puzzled. "Yes!" the elf said moodily "But... why?" Jessie said stepping forward to help the elf out of the tinsel. The elf sighed and the scowl flew from his face, he looked sad. "I was rejected from being Santa's elf because my ears aren't quite pointy." he lifted his hat to show his ears. "I was so mad that i decided to ruin Christmas. I hoped you wouldn't find blueberry muffins because i thought Santa and his wife were mean and wouldn't allow you to have any muffins but they did. I always liked blueberry muffins. but I see now that they have changed, maybe..." he paused and looked at Jessie, his eyes were filled with tears. "Maybe you could... ask santa... to let me... be one of his elves?" he said. Jessie glanced at Indy smiling "Of course!" she said happily as she helped the elf up. She took his hand and looked at her watch. "Oh my! Its almost midnight!" Jessie grabbed Indy's hand and they all rushed to the sleigh.

Chapter 8
Just in time, Jessie placed the gift into the sack. Then she pushed her way through the crowd to Santa. "Ho ho ho! Hello Jessie!" Santa greeted "So you found the gift and the thief?" Jessie nodded and pulled the elf forwards. "Wait a minute!" Santa said perplexed "I know you!" Jessie explained the story of the elf briefly. "Santa, this is... oh dear in all the excitement i forgot to ask you your name!" Jessie said slapping her forehead. "It's Merry." the elf said shyly. Jessie smiled "Santa, this is Merry, he wants to be an elf in your workshop." Santa looked down. "I see." he stroked his long white beard thoughtfully. "Well, it is Christmas, i suppose even bad little elves' dreams come true on Christmas!" Santa laughed "Welcome aboard Merry!" he said loudly and all the elves cheered. Santa looked up at the clock. "Oh gift wrap and ribbons! It's midnight! Time to fly!" He flicked the reins and the reindeer soared to the sky. Jessie watched the sleigh disappear into the night and stood there staring for a few minutes. When she came to, she saw all the elves had gone home and there was only her and Chief. "Oh!" Jessie blushed as she noticed him. Chief smiled. "I heard about the gift." Jessie smiled "Oh!" he laughed. "I wondered what you and Indy were up to!" he paused. Then he lowered his voice, "I must admit i was a bit jealous that you were spending more time with him than me." he said. Jessie laughed and poked him in the stomach, "Lets hope that'll teach you to be jealous!" she grinned as she walked towards the hotel. It was home time tonight. They were going to meet at the station in half an hour. "It sure will!" Chief called after her. He turned and chuckled to himself. "It sure will." he repeated quietly as he headed towards his room.

Epilogue
Christmas Morning and Jessie rushed into her main room to open her gifts. As she opened the one from Santa a note fell out. "To Jessie, Thank you for helping me with my dream. Signed Merry" Jessie smiled and stuck the note on her fridge. Then she went to have Christmas dinner with her friends.
